Pioneers in Cardiology Lecture Series – Dr Eugene Braunwald

The Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Program at University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital includes rotations at 3 distinctive training institutions.  The training program is based at Jackson Memorial Hospital.  Our trainees also rotate through the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the University of Miami Hospital.  The core training program includes supervised experience in the full spectrum of cardiovascular disciplines including both inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultation, critical-care cardiology, post-operative management of cardiovascular surgical patients, interventional cardiology, clinical electrophysiology, heart failure / cardiac transplantation, and cardiovascular imaging.  During the third year of the program, elective time is available to structure in research, and further training in areas of interest.
