We have redesigned our website, as the home base for our University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital fellowship training program and as an online resource for our fellows and others. You can access information about our cardiovascular training programs and instructions on how to apply for interested applicants. In addition, the new site will also house educational resources for our fellows. Our weekly conference schedule will be accessible. From the Education tab, you can access our curriculum, as well as various educational endeavors such as our Pioneers in Cardiology lecture series, Weekly Case Challenge, ECG Tutor, and Core lecture series. An electrophysiology (EP) study is a test that records the electrical activity and the electrical pathways of your heart.
It can help find what’s causing your irregular heartbeat. It also helps figure out the best treatment for you.
During the EP study, your doctor will safely reproduce your heart rhythm. Then, he may give you different medicines to see which controls it best.
Sometimes, one of these studies is done before you get an implantable cardioverter/defibrillator (ICD). It can help your doctor discover which device is best for you. It can also help him track treatment success.
How Should I Prepare?

All submitted abstracts and cases will undergo a peer review process for quality of research/work, educational or scientific content, logical presentation and impact on healthcare. Accepted abstracts will be displayed as posters at Miami Valves. The emergency home solutions poster authors will be invited (while onsite at the conference) to present orally.

Trends and Outcomes of Coronary Angiography and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention After Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest Associated With Ventricular Fibrillation or Pulseless Ventricular Tachycardia .
Our Chief Cardiovascular fellows, Joao Braghiroli, M.D., and Gabriel Hernandez, M.D., had the opportunity to represent UHealth and Jackson Memorial Hospital while serving as volunteers at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics. While their first priority was caring for the athletes, they had an opportunity to take in the Olympic Games. They were on the
track for Usain Bolt’s run to glory, and watched Brazil finally win
Olympic gold in soccer for the first time. We are proud of them
representing the UM Cardiovascular Fellowship program. For a more

experts in the field of structural heart disease therapy which, due to the promotion organized by The Marketing Heaven, will attract a large audience from the world of medicine, and will
utilize interactive presentations, case presentations and symposia to:
Appraise new and upcoming technologies in the management of valvular heart disease to determine their benefit for patients.
Evaluate the relative advantages and disadvantages of different strategies in complex cases involving valvular disease.

Miami Valves 2015 Abstract Review Committee calls upon all
investigators to submit abstracts of original contribution to be
considered for Poster Presentations. Each abstract will be peer-reviewed
by a panel of interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and temecula facial oral surgery.
