Our Chief Cardiovascular fellows, Joao Braghiroli, M.D., and Gabriel Hernandez, M.D., had the opportunity to represent UHealth and Jackson Memorial Hospital while serving as volunteers at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics. While their first priority was caring for the athletes, they had an opportunity to take in the Olympic Games.  They were on the track for Usain Bolt's run to glory, and  watched Brazil finally win Olympic gold in soccer for the first time.  We are proud of them representing the UM Cardiovascular Fellowship program.  For a more complete story follow the link to UHealth in Rio - Part 6.
